Mobile Phone Browsers Can Now View Full Arvest.com

Thursday, July 30 at 09:30 AM

Arvest customers visiting arvest.com on their mobile phone web browser have been directed to a truncated version of the website which most mobile browsers can easily access.  This screen offered limited graphics and information, featuring quick links to Banking On the Net login, Contact Us and Branches and ATM information.  These quick access links and simple interface are the best fit for most phones.

Many iPhone, Blackberry and other smartphone users have requested access to the full Arvest website via the mobile channel.  We are pleased to announce we now have added a link on the truncated phone screen that says "Classic", which will open the full version of arvest.com on your device.  (see graphic)  Opening the full site will allow you to view more product information and explore all areas of arvest.com.

If you are using your mobile web browser to do your banking and for managing our accounts, we strongly encourage you to use Arvest Mobile Banking, a more secure and easier way to conduct your transactions.  To sign up for Mobile Banking, log into Banking on the Net and click the Mobile Banking tab.  Mobile Banking is supported on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and some US Cellular and TMobile devices.  Most iPhones and Blackberries are supported on these networks.

Bentonville Donates Much Needed Food to Helping Hands

Friday, July 24 at 09:04 AM

Established in 1976, Helping Hands Inc. is a non-profit organization that runs one of the largest food pantries in Northwest Arkansas and provides support to more than 900 families each month!  Due to the increasing number of individuals and families in need of help this year, their pantry has given out more food than ever before, and is in desperate need of food.  Their biggest need has been for food that children ages 7-12 can prepare for themselves while they are on summer vacation.

The associates of Arvest-Bentonville responded to this need and collected pounds of canned goods, pasta, juice, beans, canned protein, peanut butter and so much more for the families who rely on the Helping Hands Pantry for their nutrition needs.  The food was delivered this week to the very appreciative staff at Helping Hands!  Bentonville associates will also be volunteering at the Pantry in an effort to further learn about the impact Helping Hands has on their community.

Thank you to all of the associates for their kindness and generosity! To learn more about Helping Hands and how you can get involved, click here.

Cloverleaf Branch Opening in Van Buren

Thursday, July 23 at 08:38 AM

Arvest officially opened their doors at 3015 Alma Highway, Van Buren on June 22nd but celebrated their grand opening and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, July 15th.  The branch relocated from 90 Cloverleaf Plaza.

Although the old location will be missed, as it’s been in existence for over 27 years, the new location is more customer-friendly and has easier access from the highway. It is very similar to the Rena Road location in Van Buren, with better parking, easier drive-thru access, more office space for associates and a bigger lobby for customers.  The new location is a full-service branch, including lending services.  Drive thru lanes will be open between the hours of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.  The facility is approximately 4000 square feet and employs 10-15 associates, including Victor Martinez, Branch Manager and Caroline Brewer, Assistant Branch Manager.

A check presentation on behalf of the Walton Family Foundation followed the grand opening ceremony.  A check for $5,000 was presented to The Learning Center of Crawford County, a part of the Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center.   Victor Martinez of Arvest Bank was on hand as a representative of the foundation to present the check to Jackie Scarborough, Director of Child and Family Services.  The funds will help TLC with the purchase of playground equipment for the children who attend this facility. TLC is a day treatment facility for K-12 grade students to assist with emotional, behavioral and academic challenges.

The JD Power and Associates trophy also made a stop at the Grand Opening and at several places in Van Buren, including the Van Buren baseball field.
