New Financial Education Website

Monday, February 23 at 11:32 AM

Arvest has partnered with Visa’s practicalmoneyskills.com on a new website called arvestmoneyskills.com — a co-branded Web site designed to help teachers, parents, students and business professionals develop and maintain better money management for life. To help today’s youth and consumers of all ages become financially savvy, Visa has joined with leading consumer advocates, educators and financial institutions, such as Arvest, to launch a national program to improve the nation’s financial skills—Practical Money Skills for Life.

In addition to providing free online tools and resources such as calculators, games and budget building applications, arvestmoneyskills.com offers free classroom material that educators and parents can use to teach personal finance. Available online or in a binder format, these materials come complete with a teacher’s guide, student worksheets, quizzes and interactive brain-teasers that can be played by students via the Web or from a CD-ROM.

Additionally, arvestmoneyskills.com can be used at home, work and even in organizations such as non-profit groups and churches as a solid money management tool.

Please take a moment to visit arvestmoneyskills.com and see for yourself how you can boost your money skills!
